I received a message from my cousin Ate Mitch that her sister Ate Rach just got the visa grant for them to migrate in Australia. Wooow! Everybody’s happy for them including myself. I’ll surely try to cope up with them and someday I’m gonna go there have a job, have my own family maybe and live a happy life in Australia. Ate Rach if you’re reading this, sama na ko sa bagahe nyo! Hahaha…:p Pero seriously, I’ll expand my knowledge here in the Philippines so that I can face the challenges I might encounter in other country. Bon Voyage! :)

I discovered that “maybe” they will transition the handling of metrics to me in our project. I felt happy but at the same time scared. Happy because I can work exceeding their expectations but scared coz this is not “just” a task for my level but also how I managed to work with other people other than my teammates.

Ganito pala yung feeling na ni-rerecognize ka kasi they trust you to accomplish or manage a BIG responsibility. It’s like bungee jumping. You’re enjoying the free fall because you know you can trust the rope to support you but at the same time meron kang takot na baka magkaproblema along the way and everything will fall out of place.

And before I went home, I just realized that I’m a different person. I have to accept changes in my life whether in career, workplace, attitude, lifestyle and even myself. To be honest, I’m afraid of “change”. I want to stick to what I’m used to but living and working in IT world, you HAVE to change whether you like it or not…hahaha…but (yep, there’s a BIG but) change is good and fulfilling. You cannot be at the same place 3-5 years from now right. You have to grow and love the life you have for the past years, present and even in the future. You have to come out in your shell and do things you want to do.

All these realizations hit me to the bone! So from now on, I’ll change for the better me...(but SOME things never change) :p
